Since it was a Nonghyup card, I entered the card number into the NH Pay app to apply for the living expense support payment for her. When I checked the app, the support payment was there, but no matter how many times we used the card, the living expense support balance wouldn't decrease. I waited, thinking that maybe the living expense support would be deducted first when the credit card payment due date approached, but even after the due date, money was simply taken from the bank account, and the 150,000 won living expense support balance remained unchanged.
To get straight to the point, a Nonghyup BC Card is a "BC Card" that Nonghyup Bank and BC Card have partnered on to offer benefits to Nonghyup Bank customers. Because it's a BC Card, the card's payment network is managed by BC Card, so you have to apply for the living expense support payment through the "Paybooc (BC Card app)," not the "NH Pay" app, to be able to use it with a Nonghyup BC Card.
If you don't have a Nonghyup Card (and only have a Nonghyup BC Card) but applied through NH Pay, you can just go to a Nonghyup Bank and get a Nonghyup Card. Although the card clearly says "NH Nonghyup Card," if it has the BC Card logo, it's a BC Card.
